Collector’s Home
This renovation and unification project of two apartments in a historic building in Granada was developed by a team of architects from Granada with an interior design focus, specializing in contemporary design that is sensitive to architectural heritage.
The intervention addresses the complexity of combining different spaces and meeting various functional needs, while respecting the limitations of the pre-existing structure. The removal of false ceilings allowed the restoration of the original heights and the creation of new livable spaces.
A key feature of the design is a custom-built furniture piece that integrates a library and kitchen, providing an efficient spatial solution without altering the original installations. This element unifies the home while highlighting traces, layers, and structures from different eras, achieving a respectful and innovative intervention.
